Movie Night: Werner von Mutzenbecher
Ines Goldbach, Director of Kunsthaus Baselland, and Maja Wismer, Head of Art after 1960 and Contemporary Art at Kunstmuseum Basel, jointly invite you to a special film evening in honor of Werner von Mutzenbecher. The Basel-based painter, draftsman, author, and filmmaker released a special selection of his cinematic oeuvre on DVD last year with Videoex Zurich and Editions Re:Voir Vidéo Paris, with the support of Kunstmuseum Basel, among others. On this evening, the “London Program,” a compilation of nine short films by the artist, will be screened with drinks after. The DVD will also be available for purchase.

The evening is a prelude to Mutzenbecher’s major exhibition at Kunsthaus Baselland which starts on 9 September.
