Hertig and Hauser have allowed each other to participate very closely in this process: image followed sound, sound followed image. The image Untitled 02 was concealed from the musician until it was finished; the music for Untitled 01 was heard by the artist only when the process had been concluded.

The images are not set to music; the sound is not illustrated. Rather, reactions to changes are displayed here, showing the before and after of a given sound or image dimension.
