Emmanuel Joan Ramon Pidré Starosta, a.k.a. Emma Pidré, is an artist born in Buenos Aires and currently working between Berlin, and Basel. He received his Diploma in Visual Arts from Weissensee Kunsthochschule Berlin and is currently completing an MFA at Institute Art Gender Nature in Basel under the direction of Prof. Chus Martínez.
Pidré's work has been shown in a solo show at CPU ~ Entorno para operaciones de arte contemporáneo (Buenos Aires) and in group exhibitions at Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art - LCCA (Riga), Sesc (São Paulo), Palace De Glace (Buenos Aires), EAC - Espacio de Arte Contemporaneo (Montevideo), La Chaufferie (HEAR) (Strasbourg), Kunst Raum Riehen (Basel), WAF Gallery (Vienna), Luigi Solito Gallery (Naples), Schau Fenster (Berlin), Galeria Relaciones Públicas (CDMX), T-R-I-N-I-D-A-D Art Space (Oaxaca), among other shows in Perú, Spain, Argentina, Greece and France.
